I highly encourage everyone to livestream Starstruck and upload commentary videos of your gameplay. I enjoy watching them myself, and they help more people discover the game, so I'm very thankful to you if you livestream Starstruck or make a video about it!

As long as you respect a few basic points, I fully support and encourage you to make videos or do livestreams of Starstruck:

• Videos that are mere copies of a significant amount of Starstruck's content without creative input or commentary are not permitted to be posted. In other words, uploading videos of "no commentary playthroughs" is not allowed.
  • Exception: Posting screenshots, GIFs, or short video clips without creative input or commentary is allowed.
  • Exception: Posting videos of Starstruck's free demo version without creative input or commentary is allowed.
  • Exception: Posting videos entirely consisting of Starstruck's rhythm gameplay without creative input or commentary is allowed (for example, to show off your high scores).
• If you upload a video significantly consisting of Starstruck's gameplay to YouTube, please put a link to Starstruck's Steam page in the first line of the video description: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1054950/Starstruck_Hands_of_Time
• This should go without saying, but make sure not to play Starstruck by viewing the game through the preview window in your streaming software. The preview window introduces lag which makes rhythm games unplayable.
• As far as I know, this hasn't caused any major problems, but please understand that Starstruck plays a licensed music recording during its credits, and because I do not own the copyright to this recording, I'm unable to grant permission for use of it.
• You are free to use any assets from the Media Kit in your videos, livestreams, thumbnails, etc.
• I reserve the right to object to any content that I believe is unlawful, infringing, inappropriate, or not in line with these rules. I reserve the right to no longer allow the use of Starstruck in case of such violations.
